BLACK AND WHITE SPIDER AWARDS HONORS PHOTOGRAPHER RUUD PETERS FROM THE NETHERLANDS

LONDON October 19 2008, Professional photographer Ruud Peters of the Netherlands was presented with the 4th Annual Black and White Spider Awards "1st Place Outstanding Achievement" in the category of Nature at a prestigious live online Winners and Nomination Ceremony presented by Black and White Spider Awards to recognize excellence in black and white photography.

Thousands of images were received from sixty-two countries. The nominated photographers were selected by a who's who Judging Panel from the international photography community, including Sotheby's, Tate Gallery (London), and Fratelli Alinari Museum (Florence). The Panel reviewed the images online over an eight week period and Ruud Peters' "Sweet Dreams," an exceptional image entered in the Nature category, received a high percentage of votes overall.
